heads up everyone!! Game tonight in Sydney is CANCELLED...Gary just got a call from soccer Cape Breton that said the field is soaked, so please let everyone lnow ASAP.

Hi Everyone,
Our game against the Selects was not defaulted. The CB Soccer scheduler made a mistake and forgot to reschedule this game when they were told back in early July that the Selects were going to be in PEI. They are going to re-schedule the game.

How come the soccercapebreton site didn't add are win against the selects when they defaulted.. because if we win these 2 games left we could go to Provincials.. thats if they add the game that they defaulted..

I asked SCB about the standings not being updated (it usually means that the home team did not submit the results) and also a ruling on the July 31st game. We will let you know the results on these as soon as we know.

Hi everyone. I wanted to let you guys know how much Ben and I appreciated your effort Tuesday night in Whitney Pier. With only 10 players, we could have used that as anexcuse, but instead you played your butts off and dominated from start to finish. I was trying to think of who I could single out as a player of the game but literally EVERYONE played fantastic. You passed, competed hard(and won all the battles) and talked all night and never gave up. This performance is what I`ve been waiting for all season!
Anyway, the Selects cancelled tonights game, so let`s practice instead and maybe run a couple of drills then get a good scrimmage in....that being said, a scrimmage doesn`t mean screwing around!!! I want you to take it seriously and work on passing, communicating and getting balls to the net(something you guys did awesome at in Whitney Pier). So a scrimmage doesn`t mean fooling around for practice...if I see that, the person will be running laps. Anyway, again, great game on Tuesday, and I`ll see ya`s tonight at 7 at the REC field.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say Ben and I were really pleased with the way you guys played today. You battled hard and didn't give up and it almost ended up in a come-from-behind win. We had the Pier really nervous in the second half. If we keep shooting like we did today, good things are gonna happen. We can beat those guys, we just have to want it more than them. Again, thanks for the effort boys, see ya's on Tuesday.

Practice will be at 6:30pm at REC weather permitting. Also please bring indoor sneakers if the field is too wet as we may go to the Civic Centre and use the walking track (bring $2).

Hi guys, yes, practice is cancelled for tonight. Gary has been trying to contact someone at one of the schools to see of we could use their gym, but hasn`t been able to contact anyone .
If it`s nice tomorrow I believe we have a time available at the REC field at 7:30 so let`s practice then. And if it rains perhaps we`ll have it indoors if we can get a hold of someone at the school. We`ll keep ya`s posted.

The game originally scheduled for July 24th was moved to July 26 (2nd game) has now been re-scheduled to Aug 10th at 1pm at TEC (against Riverview).
